OMTC celebrates the strengths and competitiveness of our apprentices every year. Our apprentices enter into skills competitions to show their stuff, not that they have big egos' though. Our apprentices come from all backgrounds and can be anywhere from the entry level to advanced stages of training. What is neat is watching them ply their skills to build a structure with quality in a short time. Thousands of people come each year, and once seen, just keep on returning. You see stamina, cool thinking, smart problem solving, intensity, efficiency, patience and a lot of sweat. When it's over pride rules, and the camaraderie of the challenge is unsurpassed. Being a good sport is essential. Maybe one day you'll be in the ring showing your best!
