The OMTC apprentices and staff have provided communities from across Ontario with over 30 structures that will benefit people for generations. We call this 'community profit' because everyone gains. Incorporating select projects within the scope of the training function provides a legacy of which everyone can be proud. Our projects must be not-for-profit, alter a non-masonry plan into a strong, high quality, long term low maintenance masonry structure. The project can vary from a monument to a functional community centre, the complexity geared to the skill level of the apprentices in training. Following is a sample of the recent projects that our apprentices helped to complete. Habitat for Humanity, Scarborough, ON Habitat for Humanity, Uxbridge, ON Milestones for Labour Park Project, Brampton, ON Toronto Wildlife Centre, Downsview, ON Rose Cherry’s Home for Kids, Milton, ON Earth Rangers Veterinary Residence, Vaughan, ON
