MIECO/ OMCA has a duty of fair representation and makes every effort to keep all of its masonry employer members properly informed of labour relations matters. Regular updates will be posted here.
The rate schedules posted on this website are the most current. They have been formally approved by the 2 bargaining agencies. Use these at all times without exception unless a valid job concession, consistent with the collective agreement, is in force and is duly signed by both parties.

Brick
For the Bricklayers, MIECO is the designated employer bargaining agency and the OPC of IUBAC is the designated employee bargaining agency.

Labourers
For the Mason Tenders, OMCA represents those employers engaged as masonry contractors and the Ontario Provincial District Council (OPDC) of the Labourers' International Union of North America (LIUNA) represents the union.

Under the Ontario Labour Relations Act only these parties can amend the two collective agreements. The rate schedules form a part of these agreements.
From time to time individual locals may send out adjusted rate schedules on their own accord. Contractors are advised to strictly adhere to these posted schedules, properly signed off by both parties. MIECO/OMCA will make every effort to keep employer members properly informed.
