 Job Targeting Procedures REMINDER NOTICE
In order to avoid any confusion, we would like to reiterate the longstanding procedure for job targeting: - The Contractor bidding the work should first check with the MIECO/OBBC office (Daniela Webb x. 32) to see if there is a job concession already in place.
- If not, the Contractor should make a request to the Local Union Business Manager using the attached form.
- If accepted, the Business Manager will complete the form by indicating the concessions granted and signing it on behalf of his Local.
- The Local then forwards the form to the BACU/OPC office (Fax 416-236-0200)
- If accepted, the BACU/OPC office will sign the form and forward it to the MIECO/OBBC office (Fax 905-564-5744).
- If accepted, the MIECO/OBBC office will then sign the form and forward it back to the BACU/OPC office, who will in turn, forward it to the Local.
- The MIECO/OBBC office will forward the concession to the originating contractor.
If you have any questions, please contact John Blair at (905) 564-6622.
