1) Bricklayer Rate Schedules
The Bricklayer Rate Schedules for Local #2 Toronto and Local #2 Barrie have changed effective July 1, 2009. The contributions “Holiday” for Local #2’s Welfare/ Dental Plans has been extended until December 31, 2009. Click here to download and print the schedules.
2) Job Targeting Procedures
REMINDER NOTICE
In order to avoid any confusion, we would like to reiterate the longstanding procedure for job targeting:
- The Contractor bidding the work should first check with the MIECO/OBBC office (Aubrey Go or Martin Deeley at 905-564-6622 x. 23) to see if there is a job concession already in place.
- If not, the Contractor should make a request to the Local Union Business Manager using the attached form.
- If accepted, the Business Manager will complete the form by indicating the concessions granted and signing it on behalf of his Local.
- The Local then forwards the form to the BACU/OPC office (Fax 416-236-0200)
- If accepted, the BACU/OPC office will sign the form and forward it to the MIECO/OBBC office (Fax 905-564-5744).
- If accepted, the MIECO/OBBC office will then sign the form and forward it back to the BACU/OPC office, who will in turn, forward it to the Local.
- The MIECO/OBBC office will forward the concession to the originating contractor.
